Side notes: As a prequel manga for Gansta. I'm liking it as I do also like the Gangsta. (both anime and manga) as well. But as a slow reader I admit that I's more or less out of the picture 'cause I didn't know the world well enough to relate characters now and after 10 years later events. So I think it's better to start with the sequel and familiarize with the world before picking this one up though if not minding some lil confusion about the terms it's okay also start reading the series from this point onwards too.

Main characters

Marco Adriano (マルコ・アドリアーノ)

A heavily scarred executive member of the Cristiano family. In a relationship with Connie, owner of the local store Constance. He has a level-headed, warm temperament, which is often tested by mafia politicking. Frequently his job involves calming the more hotheaded Loretta and Galahad and soothing ruffled tempers.

Marco is executive staff in the Cristiano Family and apparently Loretta's second in command. He seems to be romantically involved with Connie. He was raised with the idea that Twilights are an abomination, and should be killed. It's known that he was part of the Destroyers in the past, a team of Hunters that killed many Twilights. 

GANGSTA:CURSED. is based on Marco in his younger days. It follows the Hunters, who are trying to fulfill the mission of exterminating the Twilights. 

He is engaged to Constance Raveau.

Constance Raveau (コンスタンス・ラヴォー)

Owner of the local store Constance. She is the granddaughter of Joel, the elderly woman who sometimes hires Benriya. Connie is in a relationship with Marco Adriano of the Cristiano family.

Connie is a young fair-skinned woman with short mousy hair, blue eyes, a small chest and simple earrings in each ear. She has a tattoo of a star above two downward facing chevrons on her left shoulder, in memory of her mother who had the same on her right shoulder. Connie usually wears a thick bangle around her left wrist.

She is a cheerful woman who doesn't appear concerned at all by the violence around her. Very friendly and warm to others, she also seems to speak without thinking first.

Striker (ストライカー)

One of the Destroyers, allied with the Corsica family.

Striker is a tall, well-defined man with a sturdy, muscular physique. He has short silver-colored hair and dark skin, sporting a tongue piercing, three piercings on his left ear, a ring on his left middle finger and a tribal tattoo on his left arm respectively. His default outfit consists of men's flat shoes, white capri pants, and a personalized version of the Destroyers jacket; sleeveless, revealing his defined arms, and fully zipped.

Striker appears to be a very violent man who makes no pretence of his aversion towards Twilights. Despite being very driven in his actions, with more than than mere willingness in his use of excessive force to get to what he wants, Striker seems polite when it comes to normals, apologizing twice for bumping into Worick.

Striker was a member of the Second Destroyers fifteen years ago alongside Marco Adriano, Beretta and two other members. Striker has a heavy resentment towards Spas after he left the group, as can be seen when he goes out of his way to fight Marco during the Destroyers' invasion of Ergastulum. During their time as the Second Destroyers, Striker was shown as being extremely violent and would "toy" with the bodies of dead Twilight's, crushing the skull and repeatedly stomping a Twilight corpse, and would get aggressive towards his teammates if they attempted to stop him.

Beretta (ベレッタ)

Member of the Destroyers, allied with the Corsica family.

Beretta is very calm about any situation and usually has a smile on her face. She has been shown to have a sexually sadistic side in Chapter 35 as she enjoys watching Connie in pain. In the spin off GANGSTA:CURSED. she is shown to enjoy inflicting pain upon others.

Along with Striker and Marco Adriano, she was part of the Second Destroyers fifteen years before the current storyline and was part of the second major raid of Ergastulum.

Maverick (マーヴェリック)

Maverick is a young woman with light blonde hair that is straight until it reaches her jawline at which point it becomes slightly curly. She also has icy blue eyes. She wears a black dress with a white collar just below collarbone and wears a belt and matching black high heels. She has a standard Destroyers jacket that she wears open.
Maverick is seen to be like a older sister figure and leader to the Second Destroyers. However, during battles with Twilight's, she shows an entirely different character - one of relentlessness, cruelty and cold-bloodedness.

Maverick was an orphan who lived in an orphanage until she was adopted by a family at the age of seven. According to Maverick at first everything was going well, the her foster parents started to abuse under the pretense that it was discipline. The only one that was kind to her was her foster brother Abel who treated her like a real little sister until he was apparently killed by several stray Twilights. This would later prove to be her motivation for joining the Second Destroyers and killing any twilight she could. She would later interview Minimi for his introduction into the Destroyers and receive a promise from Spas to fight by her side.
