Characters

Kayo Hinazuki (雛月 加代)
Birthday: March 2, 1977

Kayo Hinazuki is Satoru Fujinuma's primary school classmate and one of the victims of the serial kidnapping case 18 years ago. She was a loner due to her mysterious family life, which made her an easy target to kidnap. In an attempt to prevent her kidnapping, Satoru desperately tries to befriend her.

Kayo doesn't have much of a presence in class. Prior to becoming friends with Satoru' group, she didn't have any friends and didn't speak to anyone. She considered Satoru and herself 'Fakes'. She doesn't open up to many people because of her mother's abusive nature.

Satoru Fujinuma (藤沼 悟)
Birthday: March 2, 1977

Satoru Fujinuma is a 29 year old (in 2006) manga artist who also works part-time as a deliveryman at Oasi Pizza and the main protagonist of the series. He possesses an ability called "Revival", which would bring him back to a time before a life-threatening incident has happened and allow him to prevent it. When he was framed for his mother's murder, he was brought back to 18 years ago when he was 11 years old (1988) where the same kidnapper has killed two young girls and a young boy in his hometown.

Satoru is not very good at conversing with others and prefers to keep to

himself. After the revival, he becomes more lively and outgoing.

Spoiler:

Satoru eventually attempted and succeeded in preventing the original three victims from their death, but remained in a coma for 15 years due to being almost drowned in a frozen lake for obstructing the culprit. The coma resulted in the loss of his memories of the ordeal, especially the real kidnapper and murderer's identity.

Airi Katagiri (片桐 愛梨)
Airi Katagiri is a high school student and Satoru's co-worker at Oasi Pizza. She gets involved with Satoru when she realized oddities as Satoru managed to save people from life-threatening incidents, and was one of the few who decided to trust Satoru when he was framed as his mother's murderer.

She has a bright personality and is quite reliable, as shown when she helped Satoru. She can also be quite aggressive when she doesn't agree with someone' intentions.
