Synopsis: Full Drum is a rugby-themed work about a high school boy named Hino who has been repeatedly kicked out of all the clubs he joined thanks to his lack of athletic ability. The protagonist Hino has dirty thoughts of becoming popular with girls by entering a sports club. One day, he meets a rugby club manager named Ayako. After becoming totally fascinated with Ayako, Hino decides to join the rugby club.(MAL)

Baka updates: Hino is obsessed with playing sports in high school, but not because he loves sports (he doesn't), or is any good at them (he's really not). He's doing it because that's the way to get a girlfriend (or so he thinks). After getting kicked out of half his school's sports clubs, he's still convinced he just hasn't found the sport he's truly destined for. When he (literally) runs into Noborito Ayako, manager of the rubgy club, it's love at first sight (for him), but all she's looking for is another warm body for the struggling rugby club. Could this be the chance he's been waiting for?

Side notes: This manga has lots of elements that I like. It has Sports. It has comedy. It has fun characters. It has decent plot. It has art that I like. A lot of likes and even the idea is a bit different than the most common stories have. Still there are few problems that I hope aren't getting any bigger and can be solved by the time as this is only the very first chapter translated. Instead of liking the main lead who isn't as bad as he could be I liked his best friend who is as usual the voice of reason.^-^ I think that this manga get off quite well if thinking that it's fighting of the same spot as All out which was recently made into an anime (that did nothing good for the manga in my opinion).
