Main characters

Estelle Bright (エステル・ブライト)
A 16-year-old bracer in training, and protagonist of the series. Has a bubbly personality with a never-give-up spirit and a general tendency toward bee-lining straight for whatever her heart may desire. Also somewhat naive, and the perfect example of a tomboy. Five years ago her father, Cassius, brought home a young boy named Joshua who quickly became like a brother to her. Well trained in martial arts by her father, she wields a bo-style staff with incredible ease - despite the fact that its length is greater than her own height. Estelle has no restrictions on element affiliation and therefore is able to use a variety of orbal arts. Her father Cassius is also an "S" ranked bracer - one of only four in the entire world, and Estelle knows very little of his past.

Joshua Bright (ヨシュア・ブライト)
Joshua is a young man at 16 years old. As a person, Joshua is a quiet youth with black hair and amber eyes who's always there to keep the hot-headed Estelle from getting too deep into trouble. A very formidable fighter adept with the Time element, Joshua's Orbment slots are exclusively for Time Quartz only; however, not all of them are restricted like this. His choice of weapons are a pair of swords.

Spoiler:

Before Cassius Bright adopted him, he was a ruthless and emotionless killer, not even thinking twice of harming innocents for his mission.

Joshua was born on 12-20-1185 of the Septian Calendar in his hometown up north. There he live happily until a tragic event happened seven years later. Due to a tragic event in his past, Joshua became basically an emotionless shell, not eating, talking, or even playing—merely playing his harmonica.

A traveling magician (later revealed to be Professor Alba, a.k.a. Weissmann the Faceless) then offered to restore his heart, if Joshua would work for his organization Ouroboros. His caretaker agreed, and Joshua's very mind was manipulated into the will of Weissmann. Joshua became Enforcer #13, the Black Fang.

He became a full-fledged assassin, killing his targets ruthlessly, not even pausing to kill innocents. Eventually Cassius Bright was targeted, but Joshua failed, and was taken in by Cassius.

Near the end of the game, Alba then releases Joshua from his spell which make all his memories come back. Joshua now remembers that he is in fact an assassin of the secret society Ouroboros. During the following night Joshua tells her the truth about him and also confesses to her his love. By kissing her, he puts a sedative in her mouth causing Estelle to fall asleep. He then bids her farewell and decides to leave in order to stop the Ouroboros.

Klose Rinz (クローゼ リンツ)
Age 16, a female student in the Royal Jenis academy in rural Ruan area. She is a calm and sensitive figure who looks after kids in foster homes. She has a pet white falcon named Giku and is also the school's fencing champion. Her Orbment is also unique in that it only utilizes one line using all 6 slots. However her orbment is restricted by having three slots requiring Water Quartz only. This attributes her arts to being mostly water based, and is therefore adept with the Water element. Her magical skills are going to be comprised mostly of healing arts as that is what water arts are mostly aligned with. All this would relegate Kloe to being the healing character.

Tita Russel (ティータ ラッセル)
Age 12, a female child residing in the city of Zeiss, she is the granddaughter of Albert Russell, the founding father of Orbment technology in the kingdom and a genius inventor. Thanks to her genes, Tita is also incredibly skilled in machinery and orbment technology. Despite her young age she's already an apprentice in the central workshop, the most important R&D facility in the realm.

Scherazard Harvey (シェラザード ハーヴェイ)
Age: 23

A female Bracer with silver hair and dark skin, nicknamed "Silver Flash." She is a sisterly figure to the Brights, and looks after them through much of their journey. She is also a student under Cassius. Born in the slums of a foreign realm, she was picked up by a traveling circus as a child, and after the circus disbanded she stayed under Cassius and became a bracer. She is well versed in dancing, cards and thief skills.

Agate Crosner (アガット クロスナー)
Age 24, he hails from a small village in rural Boss area but also spent most of his youth in the port city of Ruan as the leader of the Raven clan. He is one of the up-and-coming bracers in the kingdom, nicknamed "heavy sword" for his use of such weapons in combat. He always appears angry and grumpy on the surface but is in fact a caring youth who looks after newcomers like the Brights. As the story develops, he gets increasingly more connected to Tita Russell.
