In Kyoto, a misfortune befalls Mikuzu's family after the head of the household nearly shoots a fox with an arrow. Now Mikuzu, a daughter of a ronin, with a help of her neighbor and a childhood friend Onioumaru, is looking for a way to cure her gravely ill father. Once the demon fox abducts Mikuzu, meaning to recommence her misadventures in a new incarnation, the battle to save the girl and to restore the seal begins.

Side notes: This manga gets a good score for its art but at the same time people do complain a bit of the detailed work that is making it hard to know where the look inside the picture. I myself thought first that this is a exceptional style for a manga and on high quality. As for how to look inside the picture I use the same technique as with reading, from the top right corner down and towards the left... that helps but soon the style goes a bit simplistic direction lowering the quality of the art (I think that it tries to modernise the sumi-e style).

This manga is also clearly a seinen manga so do note that there is a good deal of naked skin to be seen.
