Synopsis: Large mysterious alien ships have been looming above Japanese towns for three years, filling the sky. Everything changed three years ago. And yet, nothing has changed.
No weapon used against the invaders' ships had any success, beyond destroying part of Japan and leaving its economy in shambles. JSDF is fighting a guerrilla battle against the aliens all over Japan. America is joining the 'war' effort with more aggressive tactics, dividing Japan over the pacifist principle laid out in Article 9 of the Japanese constitution. But this may just be the mundane story of young high schoolers.

Side notes: I've just started to read this manga so I'm not able to give much details or info about it. It just made me think about some old American Sci-Fi movies and TV series where there were some similar type of scenes with alien invasion and huge space ships hanging above the cities. I've just forgotten most of them though. XDDD I think H.G. Wells already had something similar going on in one of his novels. But nah... lets talk about this one.
In my opinion the main charas, Ouran and Kadode are younger than High schoolers.>.< Only their talks lets you see them as high school students and ones getting ready to take a step forward to leave childhood behind. And on this relies my thought to mark this series for older than 13 + year old readers. Also the genre tag Seinen should made it automatic that this isn't kids book to read.^-^
Art is good and works for the series. I'm not sure about the plot but it's probably getting better as I get reading it more. I'm sensing lil sisterly love (Shoujo ai) from this but that might be over reaction just now.^-^
