Series is licensed in English. The official translation site lets you read 10 first chapters free including the prologue. After that you need to buy what you wish to read from them.

Baka updates isn't giving any related series for this but on Disqus there is thread dedicated to this series. According to this source there has been three prequels to the current story and the first being Psychedelic moon (1999). It's the story of the rise of legendary hunter 'Segun Han' The Beast. "Part zero is about clash of two vampire lords, Jukyo and chang-eun resulting brutal, bloody war among vampires." by Kor (LoneManga)

Trivia: The original author Hugin is husband of Shin Weol, a writer of Abide in the wind. (Kor)

According to second source "Reveries of the Moonlight is a Web comic based on a 1999 novel of the same name written by Hong Jeonghun (Hugin)."

From this source of information it comes clear how the novel series is constructed:

According to Kor the Psychedelic Moon  is about about the rise of legendary hunter 'Segun Han' the Besast and his later corruption. "To challenge 'Tetra Anax' and hunt down 'True devil' as human, he corrupts and hurts himself. (With evil deed and drug leading him to self-destruction.)"

Part zero is about clash of two vampire lords, Jukyo/ Jeokyo and chang-eun/ Chang Oon resulting brutal, bloody war among vampires. Kor  

- On the manhwa they talk about Jinya with whom Junkyo/ Jeokyo is fighting and has been fighting as long as it can be remembered. Chang Woon (Chan-geun/ Chang Oon) is Junkyo's/ Jeokyo's younger brother. -

Season 1(webcomic version) consists of three arcs.

• First arc deals with hidden past&clash between Jeokyo and Chang Oon.
• Second arc 'Bloody Cinderella' it's time 2 years after Part Zero.

For last 300 years, Sylvester has killed countless vampires under the shelter of Vatican. In 18c, He also hunted Sepia acul and devastated her clan, lately resulting vampires to fear and call him Jinma Slayer.

He once fought with Phantom but was desperately defeated. In recent, He entered Korea to hunt Jeokyo & Chang oon and other vampire lords.

Unlike other hunters, Sylvester enjoys having an aggressive hand-to-hand fight with vampires. He easily slice off the head of enemy with his sabre. He can tear off the roof of a car with bare hands, and shoot Barret M82A1 with a single hand. As a magician, Sylvester uses magic in the middle of combat. He's usually hiding numerous firearms with magical space and also can perform some sorts of powerful magic.

Side notes: This manhwa is kinda out of my league and I'm only visiting it to now mainly due of Noblesse (another vampire thingy). The art is quite good, if not excellent. But story is quite dark and blood filled. As I saw the first  few chapters and they arose many questions about the story and charas but left them unanswered. The manhwa throws  charas in just like that, without any introduction. To know them and understand the story better one should read the novels. 

Also the "valiant" vampire hunters aren't there. They hunt vampires mainly for money and to get their blood to make a drug that gives them same type of qualities as vampires have. This as for an explanation to some scenes that aren't clarified until later date.
