Side notes: This is one kawai collection of slice of life type short stories about the life in the country side. Art is sketchy and varies a lot. At the best it's very detailed and splendid made but on the other side of the scale it can be really like kids doodles... though with skill. At least I learned something new from this manga 'cause I didn't know that much of the animals as the author does.

And it made me want to have a cat again too, just like Kabocha.

P.S. I read this in scanlated form so I'm unsure if there was a chapter missing. The first chapter was supposed to be about finding Kabocha/ or adopting her but there was no such thing in the chapter itself or in the scanlated version.
