Side notes: As I read the synopsis and part of the Osamu's life story I was mostly wondering the urge to kill oneself. What was the reason for this kind of angst that surfaced time after time leading multiple tries to suicide until it finally was the last time and there was nothing after that. How deep despair there must be to end one's own life and not just their own but someone else's life at the same time. What could that prove to others or oneself? Was it the influence of the other writer, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, who also committed a suicide. It's just odd... but I'm not psychiatric so I can't deep analyze his reasons. Maybe this manga or his novels hold some key to this but it's better just let the story lead and analyse other things after.^-^
