Side notes: Well I've seen some of the anime before so I's not totally unknowing about this manga.^-^ But for some reason I had Arakawa Under The Bridge on my mind while checking up the manga. I's thinking to add it here but on the tag list there was an important word missing... Hallucination... or something similar... though it could have probably fitted on today's list... if stretched a bit.XDD But anyways... although this manga is also missing word Hallucination... it should be on the list, nee. The art is good and story pretty well made so it's no wonder that it was also adapted into an anime. Though there are some racier scenes too so if you feel uncomfortable with sexual innuendo it's better to skip some pages over.

Main characters

Tatsuhiro Satou (佐藤 達広)
Age: 22
Birthday: January 28
Height: 176 cm (5'8")
Weight: 70 kg

The story's protagonist is a 22-year-old hikikomori and NEET of nearly four years. He is highly unstable, easily manipulated, obsessive, and often blames the N.H.K. conspiracy, a fabrication of his mind, for his shortcomings. He lives in a rented apartment, but depends on his parents' allowance to live.

Misaki Nakahara (中原 岬)
Age: 17-18
Height: 154 cm
Weight: 40 kg

Misaki is a mysterious girl who decides to help Tatsuhiro escape his hikikomori lifestyle. She convinces him to sign a contract, involving him in her "big project", with the goal of making him a normal person. Though seeing right through his actions, she tries reading him (beginner's) psychology books in an attempt to click with his feelings and "save" him.

In the manga her parents are still alive, but she claims they are dead to guilt Satou into staying with her. The reason she isn't in school in the manga is because she failed the year, and it's heavily suggested this was because she didn't fit in with her classmates. She is informally diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder by her school therapist, which is only brought up once but is probably the reason she finds it difficult to make friends with anyone other than Satou, hikikomoris and people she considers lower than her.

(Ed by me from the text on MAL)

Kaoru Yamazaki (山崎薫)
Age: 20
Height: 169 cm (5'6")
Weight: 55kg

"Tatsuhiro's former kouhai (Junior) in high school, who is an otaku. Tatsuhiro once stood up for him when he was still in middle school being beat up by some bullies, since then, he respected him greatly and decided to join the literature club with him when he went into high school. He is currently Tatsuhiro's neighbor and a college student aspiring to be a game creator."
