Side notes: As I said on the intro today I've been reading this manga as LN before so I's pretty familiar with it. The art is on good level and clean though there are moments when it's plain and a bit sketchy. Story is also pretty much used theme about reincarnation into another world (usually world with magic) but thing with mecha gives it a lil different vibe to keep it more original. Also though the main chara is pretty strong he has to work to gain something in his new environment which makes it a bit more interesting. The names of the characters seem to base on the names used in northern Europe (Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland [cursive 'cause there is lots of Finnish names used.])
P.S. I put the twins to the supporting role for now 'cause although they have a strong position in the story they're left a bit aside in later chapters in the novel but I don't know how it goes with the manga.

Update (Sep 27, 2016)
There is now four chapters translated and I sadly have to note that the story is jumping a lot and it's not on a good level. Also the art is a bit disappointing. If you want to enjoy the story before it's been animated take look for the novel that is more detailed and better made compared the abridged version of the manga.

Ernesti Echevarria (エルネスティ・エチェバルリア)
He is studious and quiet but hardworking and devoted. Not only is he mature, he is also quite protective of his friends. He devotes himself to studying and can be quite brave, evident from challenging a Behemoth alone. He is troubled by his short stature and feminine appearance that led to people hugging him. He is usually composed and quiet but displays excitement whenever Silhouette Knights are mentioned. He can also be quite forceful evident when he skip and exempt himself from other classes to attend classes about Silhouette Knights. His goal is to create a Silhouette Knight and become a pilot.
His father, Mathias, is the instructor of piloting the Silhouette Knights at the high school on Laihiala Pilot Academy, while his grandfather, Lauri, is the director of the same institution. His mother, Celestina (Tina), did teach him magic when he was at young age. He also remembers quite a lot of his previous life as Kurata a programmer so he can use that base to support his new life.

Supporting
Archid Olter (アーキッド・オルター / キッド)
He is Ernesti's friend and Ady's twin brother.
He is kind and laid back. He can perceive certain situations and be quite reckless. He is blunt most of the time and cares deeply for Adeltrud and his friends. He knows when to back down and very brave. He follows Eru most of the time and considers him his mentor. He shows great fortitude, especially when he stood against Baltsar and beats him. He prefers to use raw power. However, he is also quite good at techniques although not as good as Eru and Ady.
Adeltrud Olter (アデルトルート・オルター / アディ)
She is Ernesti's friend and Chid's twin sister.
She is cheerful and active. She Is also unknowingly in love with Eru and adores him. She loves cute things, especially Eru and hugs him on a daily basis. Skilled in battle.
Unlike Chid who specializes in power, she specializes more on intrinsic control.
