Synopsis: Sequel to the Psycho-Pass series, taking place one-and-a-half year later.
This is a continuation of the story of Psycho-Pass, which takes place in a future world where it is possible to completely detect a person's mental state. This technology is used by the Sibyl system to separate those who are judged to have the potential to commit crimes from the rest of society, and sometimes to execute them on the spot using a 'Dominator' gun. The detectives that hunt down criminals and potential criminals work in pairs of "Inspectors," who are respected citizens, and "Enforcers," who are expected to have insight into the minds of criminals. The story features Inspector Tsunemori Akane, who is now no longer a rookie detective, and introduces a new young Inspector named Shimotsuki Mika, who will join the fight against criminals and those judged to be potential criminals.

Side notes: And it was a long break.XDD Okay let's see...The art is something that I noticed at first. It's really on a good if not a great level (I'd say it's on great level). About the story... I'm unable to compare the manga to the anime now 'cause I've not seen more than the first episode of it... and after that I've left the anime on hold. I saw the first Psycho Pass anime more than year after when it was first time aired. So I'm not the most prominent fan of the series... though it's a good one.

Shinya Kougami is an enforcement officer who is tasked with managing crime. Shinya has a high criminal mentality, but because of his skills as a detective, he was released under the condition that he becomes an Enforcer for the Public Safety Bureau, Unit 1.
Despite his natural grudge towards Makishima, they are actually somewhat alike, as shown in Shinya's ability to foresee Makishima's actions.

Akane Tsunemori (常守 朱)

The main female protagonist and the newly assigned Inspector of Unit 1. Considered a model citizen due to her ever calm demeanor and for passing the exams with the highest score for employment on several public sectors and private corporations. She decided to join the police due to being the only place where no one obtained a score as high as hers, thus she believes to be able to do something there that no one else can.
Kirito Kamui (鹿矛囲 桐斗)
Kirito Kamui is a person who cannot be detected by any scanners or by the Dominators themselves. He aids and abets criminals, including Akira Kitazawa, with his ability to clarify their Hues. However, unlike the latter who uses various criminals as a means of uncovering humanity's repressed desires as a way of spreading chaos and mass hysteria to bring down the Sibyl System, he, exploits the flaws within the Sibyl System and uses ordinary people who were either at their limits of their repressed aggression or disenchanted with the world to serves as his pawns to spread chaos and mayhem to bring down the Sibyl system.
He has messy black hair and brown eyes. He wraps his whole body with clothes and gloves, with only his face out. After transplanting Shisui's removed eye into his right eye socket, he gets two eye colors: Lavender and brown. He also has a scar on his right cheek.
He seems to pay attention to Akane Tsunemori, in a similar manner to the obsession of Makishima with Kougami.
Sakuya Tougane (東金 朔夜)
Age: 28
Birthday: June 6, 2086
His real birthday is in June 6, 2073 and he is really 41 years old.
Sakuya Togane is one of main characters of Psycho-Pass Season 2 who joins Akane's team.
Not much is known about him apart from the fact that he seems to agree with Akane's beliefs and although it has been erased from the official documents, he possesses the highest crime coefficient on record.
Mika Shimotsuki (霜月 美佳), 17
She is a student of Oso Girl's Academy who seems to be aware of what's going on around campus. She is Kagami's friend and classmate.
