Side notes: I's reading this manga before it got published that there will be an anime adaptation upcoming and more or less it deserves it.^-^ Reason why I's reading this was related to another rugby manga which I liked but was fast ended due of lack of interest.T,T And to say it frankly I saw more potential on it than on this manga.>.<; Still that doesn't say that this is bad... it just moves differently and grows bigger with time.^-^ Art is crafty sided and pretty typical for a sports manga. Charas are good so that's the strong point for readers that aren't interested the rugby so much.

Gion wears baggy, oversized clothes in the hopes that he will go through a growth spurt and become taller, as he is very short. He has a tendency to go berserk when called a shrimp. He's generally loud and cheeky, much to the annoyance of the second years. However, he comes across as endearing to the third years. 

Gion is a beginner in rugby; he joins the rugby club after entering high school.
