Side notes: I like the start of this manga although zombies aren't my thing... except one kawai mini zombie. The art is quite good but the idea... it's not hugely original. So it's nice to see how the mangaka manages to push boundaries and create again something new to read... until we get to their first meeting (blaah cliche!) but with a tiny twist. Still if we get past all stupid cliches I hope this turns out to be something fun to read. So I'm still watching and waiting to see how it turns out to be.^-^b

Egyptian priest from the times of Faraos. Lives to fight against Makai.
Wakened up in unknown place without knowledge of the modern society. While running away his pursuers he smashes into Hinome Hawakate and decides to take her with him to purify her. Can purify makai and make them submit to him. He gives only two choices: to vanish from being or imprisonment. He angered the god and was imprisoned for 3000+ years.





Hinome Hawakate
Age: 15-17 (?)

A high school girl that was cursed and possessed by a makai. For this reason she couldn't speak and she had to hide her neck under scarf so that the old burn marks on her skin wouldn't show. She's rumored to breathe fire and people around her would be cursed just like her family was.
Lives with her father in an old European stylized mansion that is filled with historical artefacts. That is so untill Imhotep comes and decides to make the place his temple. Her hobby is to build miniature gardens. 


Anubis, guardian spirit

Needs to serve a priest and learn from them how to be a god. After a service time they can grow up and be "real" god like Anubis. As for being "misfortunate" and less talented than his brothers he was sent to keep eye on Imhotep and only that way he can grow up to be a god.
