Side notes: I's really battling with myself do I add this manhwa or not today's list. I'd my eye on Space brothers too but decided to take this one on.  This manhwa is also licensed so it's better to go to store or to the library if wanting to read it to the finnish when it comes. I'm a bit unsure if it can be found from manga reading sites more than the first two or three seasons. Still I leave the option for readers.

The start of the manhwa isn't artistically very strong... and I's almost dropping it for that reason but the story... that kept me reading. Still this isn't my favorite story but I'm thinking that it's good to at least to check about 'cause it's so long run series and for that reason starting to gain a "Classics" status.

P.S. I also found a wiki for the manhwa but it's not active and available to adoption so if interested better go and see. I'm just borrowing some character info from there.

Anne Mayer, 28, is one of the main protagonists of Knight Run alongside her adoptive sister, Pray Mayer. She was a Master Knight possessing outstanding combat ability, but decided to officially retire, citing a broken body and increasing exhaustion amongst other things. However, despite her official position as "retired", she continues to fight actively on the battlefield when the situation or her emotions call her to do so. Furthermore, even after her official retirement, humanity continues to acknowledge her as the second strongest Knight in all of existence, following Pray Mayer. Following this, she was still a Colonel in the AUA (Arin self-defense force) and later on a war advisor.

Initially, she acts under the command of  Admiral Jack Norton as a War Advisor of the Northern military branch, with whom she first appears in the battle for the Planet Void. Later on, as more active duty Knights are injured, she chooses to take up the sword and fight directly on the battlefield instead, ultimately killing the Beast Queen on Void and ending the long battle. Following the battle for Void, she departs for the human capital world of Arin with Admiral Norton and her protege, Master Knight and Zero Breaker Leo, planning to return to peace and quiet with beloved sister Pray. She instead returns home to the sight of carnage, terror, confusion, and desperation at the hands of the Beast Queen Elise-34's destructive and shockingly effective war campaign against humanity's core worlds. At this point, Anne becomes humanity's brightest hope for ever reclaiming what they have lost. 

Pray Mayer, 28, is a Master Knight and one of the main characters of Main Episode-0 Pray. She is currently the strongest known Queen of alien monsters in existence, having birthed 2 powerful "EX-Type Zero" SS-class Beasts and launched invasions against a vast multitude of humanity's planets and colonies. She has nearly single handedly brought the whole human race to its knees with her incredible, cunning intelligence and martial skill. At the moment, she is the one enemy humanity must unite together and focus against if they are to survive any longer into the future.  

Pray is the strongest Knight in the universe, but she has an extremely sociopathic personality. Pray is more than antisocial, being "psychologically disgusted" by humans, resorting to violence when they approach her, and otherwise, insulting them at every opportunity. Her world revolves around her adopted sister Anne who is only human she can accept. As a darwinist she believes that only strong ones can survive and for that reason humans aren't suitable of living. 

Pray is a master in both armed and unarmed combat, both melee and ranged. Studying both unarmed and armed combat, including sword and spear techniques, Pray gained strength at a prodigious speed, soon overtaking their teacher and creating her Pray Style, based off of Mayer martial arts. Her most visible ability would be her Paranormal Power, Pray Style Wave Techniques. Concentrating on overwhelming force, this supremely destructive fighting style focused almost exclusively on nothing but pure power output, placing her at a level beyond any human, eventually gaining her the title of Top Sword, the strongest Knight.
