Synopsis: Since the graduation of the senior members of the club, Takezou ends up being the sole member of the "Koto" (traditional Japanese string instrument) club. Now that the new school year has begun, Takezou will have to seek out new members into the club, or the club will become terminated. Out of nowhere, a new member barges into the near-abandoned club room, demanding to join the club. How will Takezou be able to keep his club alive and deal with this rascal of a new member?

Side notes: It's been some time since I started reading this manga... and I's not that impressed mainly due of the theme.XDDD But after a while I took it back on my reading list and started to like it more too.^-^ Art is pretty good, if not great for shounen and charas are quite well constructed. It's almost like wonder how the mangaka manages to make  something like Koto playing interesting but it's same with any instrument, nee. Good plot and charas - they make it interesting so reading while writing.^-^b

Chika Kudou (久遠 愛)

First year student, who abruptly barged into koto music club room demanding to become a member. He is considered to be delinquent and even upper classmen are scared of him, but Chika is very caring for his friends. His late grandfather was koto craftsman and founder of school’s koto music club. Chika now lives with his aunt Isaki.

Satowa Hozuki (鳳月 さとわ)

Satowa is a first year student and a daughter of famous koto family Houzuki. She has been learning to play koto since she was little and has won many contests. Although she is koto prodigy, Satowa was debarred from Houzukikai. She claims that she joined the koto music club because she want to become known as "young virtuoso koto player that led a no-name school club to become number 1 in nation" when she makes professional debut. She loves koto.

Takezou Kurata (倉田 武蔵)

President of koto music club. He's shy and weak in difficult situations. After his failure at the exam, depressed, Takezou saw his senpai's performance, where she was giving her all even though no one listened and koto's string had been broken. He was deeply moved by her performance, so he joined the club. After senpai's graduation, he became an only member of koto music club and had to find strength to protect it.
