Side notes: I've been kinda running around this manga wondering should I pick it up or not. I'm not keen of reading josei (although I've picked some of josei here too) and adding drama/ psychological to it... I'm really avoiding it. I'm not sure why I'm not able to digest josei mangas in general but if I find one that I like I'm keeping it. But back to the manga... the art is good if not great and the plot line holds numerous possibilities for anyone liking dark fantasy. So not bad in that sense... but it's still not something that I'm making extra room to read. In my case this manga will be on hold and I read it if I got time.
Still I'm sure that this is quite good manga for most readers of this genre 'cause both MAL and Baka readers give it average of 7.73/ 7.9 score to it. But if compared, it's far away from the Disney's version of Alice in Wonderland (which I like).

Main characters
Alice (アリス)
Age: 19 years old
Height: 172 cm
The protagonist, Alice is the 89th Alice and the first one that is a male. In order to not be killed by the Queen of Hearts and to be able to became "Alice in Wonderland" he joins the game of killing the White Rabbit. Later he befriends The Duchess, which is probably his only friend.
Alice keeps having visions of a girl that begs him to give her, "her name".

Mad Hatter
Age: 29 years old
Height: 178 cm
The Mad Hatter works for the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland. His duty is to protect Alice. He does not like the Cheshire Cat.

White Rabbit (白ウサギ)
The White Rabbit is the enemy of the Queen of Hearts. Only Alice can kill him. He was in love with Marianne.

Queen of Hearts
The King of Wonderland, he usually sits on his throne surrounded by girls. He is looking for Alice.
Known by his cold attitude, he is actually a murderer and will kill anyone who dares to change the story.
Mary Ann
A mysterious girl that has some connection to Alice. She is in the care of the White Rabbit and is usually seen with her eyes closed sitting on a throne. In the beginning of the story she rarely speaks. Her past plays a vital role in the story.

He is a friend of the White Rabbit who gave him his name but never gave him any abilities. The March Hare has a penchant of calling the White Rabbit as "Snowy" which makes the White Rabbit irritated.

An informant who knows the whereabouts of the White Rabbit.
A self-professed "cautious guy", who runs around the whole country in an attempt to avoid being involved in the Game.
It seems that before his assignment, he was friends with Hatter.
Duchess (公爵夫人)
The Duchess is a little girl that was ordered to be "Alice's replacement". Her pet is Cheshire cat.
Jack
The Ace of the Queen of Hearts.
He was brought to Wonderland as the Number 1 Trump soldier. But in truth, that was a blunder of the White Rabbit. Since the man-hating Queen gave him the order "Don't speak more than 10 lettered words every 10 years," he is living in harsh life.
Regret
The 88th Alice. She was not able to become "Alice" because she was killed by the Cheshire Cat, so she returned as The Regret.
White Knight (白の騎士)
His duty is to protect the "Looking-Glass Land" and Alice. He first appears in volume 8 and resembles the exact opposite of the Mad Hatter.
