Side notes: Again it's sad to see an award winning work left alone by the scanlators and no-one daring to pick it up as the status of the other group is unsure. Bato.to doesn't host this so you can't find it there at the moment and there isn't more than one official volume translated in English so we are left on the mercy of online scanlations. But never mind. There is no hurry and I hope that this manga gets it's translation done some day.^-^b The art is on good level and story is interesting  so it fits to my reading habits pretty well. This stays on my list until the translation is done to the end and probably after that close to my favorite mangas top 10 list.^-^b

P.S. I'm a bit unsure should I rate this or not but... well if needed something like R13 would be around the mark.

Main character

Ritsu Iijima (飯嶋 律)

Iijima Ritsu is the central character of Hyakkiyakou Shou/Selected Pandemonium. He has the ability to perceive the supernatural, inherited from his grandfather, Iijima Ryou (pen name: Iijima Kagyuu), a novelist who wrote about his own supernatural experiences. Ritsu was dressed as a girl as a small child in order to ward off evil, as per his grandfather's wishes. His grandfather died when he was very young, but left behind Blue Storm, a guardian spirit contracted to protect Ritsu. Ritsu is in high school when the series begins, and together with Blue Storm and his cousin Tsukasa, he deals with spirits both friendly and un, supernatural objects and occurrences, and occasionally even real-world problems.

Supporting

Tsukasa Iijima (飯嶋 司)

Tsukasa Iijima (飯嶋 司 Iijima Tsukasa), is a cousin of Ritsu, and is a reoccurring supporting character.

She seems to have inherited some of their grandfather's sixth sense as well, though it is nowhere as strong as Ritsu's. However, she tries to deny that she is able to see anything abnormal.

Three years older than Ritsu, she is in college from the beginning of the series.
