Side notes: As this is a long series it's a bit sad to see that it's again inactive status. Both scanlation groups are inactive so there probably aren't any more chapter coming out if someone isn't picking this project up. There should be raws available at least to chapter 48 as the current translation ends at chapter 17 in volume 4. The art is on decent level (I try not to say if it's good or bad level 'cause I've not decided it yet and it all comes to personal taste, nee.) and the story is fun to read from the beginning. It doesn't take too deep or serious attitude towards history so the drama is cut down emphasizing more of the comedy of the story. And that's what I like though my favorite it isn't. So I'm reading this slow pace while waiting to see if some group picks this up.^-^
A teenager with the power to see the true "shape" of a sword. He has trouble making friends, as being part of the Narikawa family (known for their skill make katanas) is surrounded by rumors. Ever since he was young, he was able to sharpen swords, both physically, and mentally. He has a good many friends in katanas. Most spirits can tell about his power, and all wish to be sharpened by him. Human sword maniacs make friends with him as well, as they like to see the swords he sharpens. Sometimes, the katana spirits ask for his help, as he is the only one able to communicate with them.
