Side notes: This manga is weird. I think there can numerous scenarios and twists of possibilities going on inside one's mind while reading. At least I's thinking more than just the story as I followed the story. Most of all I's thinking "What is the symbolistic meaning of the story?" or is there something like that all. In one way it's just normal puppeteering act that one can see on stage but why it is brought out to the real life situation. Etc. The art is on the good side and the story too - at least as long as one isn't thinking about the moral issues too too deeply. ^-^b
Main characters
Sumire Yotsuya (四谷スミレ)
A puppet high school student controlled by an old man.
Old Man (おやじ )
Sumire's puppeteer. An unnamed middle-aged man wearing black clothes. Everyone acknowledges the existence of the old man except for Sumire and, seemingly, the school principal. Teachers at the school have learned to ignore him or risk being fired by the principal for badmouthing a student.
