Side notes: This manhua is here mainly 'cause it is a manhua.XDDD I's looking around for a suitable piece of story and stumbled on this by almost an accident. Well to be frank this manhua was on a while on my main reading list but due of its discontinuation I pushed it to the Extra-extra piece of work. As I looked around for this manhua it came across that that the manhua as it continued in a novel form has also a manga made out of it but I couldn't find anything about that. So the ending is in a novel... but finding translation for it... no luck. The best what I could find was the same link that Baka has to the summary of the story in MangaFox. So clicketi clicketi meh to find out the end.

Salsuke is strong at blade handling. He is one of the princess bodyguard and acts like a protective brother towards her. At first he was angry about Yashi joining the palace as a bodyguard but warmed up to her later. He tried to ignore his feelings for her still thinking that Yashi was a boy. When he finds out that Yashi is a girl he confessed to her hurting princess Abelie’s feelings in the process.
Yashi Aighe
Age: 14
Yashi travels through the country with her father. They came to Bocinia kingdom in order to speak to her mother. She dressed up as a boy to work alongside her father in the palace. After saving the princess life she gets appointed to be her bodyguard. She is short tempered and stubborn but also very caring towards others. She later falls in love with Salsuke, a fellow bodyguard but hides her feelings because the princess also loves him. It later turns out that the princess is her half-sister making the queen her mother.
