Side notes: This manga plays with fan service as much as the Cherry Teacher Sakura Naoki which is also a new translation project. And they both belong to the series that I'm not going to read much. It all depends how good the actual story is and am I able to close my eyes from the reality of the manga. Still if compared I really should have taken the Cherry Teacher into presentation due of it's more comical approach of the subject... but nah... it's better leave to others to decide what they like to read.XDD
The art is more or less hard to say what it is. I kinda find it failing on many levels although the girls are drawn quite well. I can't shake the image of Yukihira Soma from my mind when watching Yamikadou Meijirou and seeing his actions.
Yamikadou Meijirou*
An ordinary highschool boy. After saving a devil, he discovers that he was born with the Seal of Solomon on his tongue, a special power that allows him to control all forms of sorcery and devils. He also discovers that he will die in three years as every use of his power uses up his lifespan.
To save himself he needs to establish a contract with the twelve Starlight Maidens who were born with a special sign somewhere on their body, and to do so, he must lick their sign with his tongue where his sign is located.
*Translation uses name Yomikadou but it's also translated as Yamikadou.

She wields a longsword (?) as her weapon against the devils. She can also use binding magic. Yamikadou saved her twice, once about ten years before the current events and second time after the vampire attack.

A devil, 4th class pixie, that was chased by Minamoto Mayori before Yamikadou Meijirou saved her. She told him about the Seal of Solomon. She consideres herself as Meijirou's familiar.
Yamokadou Tsukumo
The director of Dawnlight Academy and also Meijirou's Grandfather. He's also teaches the future "Vanisher's" and has decided to make his grandson one of them. As the director he is Minamoto Mayori's master, respected teacher.
Iruka
Minamoto Mayori's senpai. She likes to tease her kouhai as much as she likes candy.
