Side notes: I'm not familiar with the franchise and I've not seen any other anime than the currently airing Macross Δ which has left me with many many questions. So when I spotted this manga I's like "Yesh! Finally some answers!" The art is on good level although the backgrounds are sometimes quite plain. Charas are same as in the anime but give a deeper feeling for them compared to animation. Still as you get to read the manga it's easy to see that it's origin isn't on a novel... the feeling is kinda too sloppy for that.

Heinz Nehrich Windermere (ハインツ・ネーリッヒ・ウィンダミア)

Heinz is the prince of the Windermere Kingdom, he is capable of using his songs to control those infected by the Var Syndrome, but using his powers in such way is taking a toll on his body, raising concerns regarding his health. He wishes the end the war as soon as possible.

Roid/ Lloyd Brehm (ロイド・ブレーム)

Chancellor of the Windermere Kingdom. He claims that being the very last of the races descending from the Protoculture civilization, the natives from the Brisingr Globular Cluster are the true heirs of the Protoculture and rightful owners of their legacy. Keith is Lloyd's childhood friend; they were so close that they were basically siblings back then. Upon Gramia VI's death, Lloyd assumes his position as sovereign of the Windermere Kingdom.

Gramia Nehrich Windermere (グラミア・ネーリッヒ・ウィンダミア)

The sovereign of the Windermere Kingdom and a former member of the Aerial Knights. Once a student of Ernest Johnson, he was criticized for being too chivalrous. During the battle on Ragna, Gramia is killed when the Macross Elysion severely damages the Sigur Valens' bridge.
