Synopsis: One day, a young glider technician crashes into a strange tree that turns out to be the nest of the last dragon on Earth. The technician accidentally bonds with the dragon's powers after she and the dragon fend off a weapon used by knights hunting the "Dragon Pearl," an item that holds the life and powers of a dragon. The technician finds out the Dragon Pearl has temporarily fused with her body and the dragon will die if they separate. So begins the story of how the dragon and the technician survive the onslaught of knights and villains while dealing with the strange events and moral differences that come from interspecies friendship... Side notes: This manhwa ended up to my list mainly 'cause I's searching good manhwa and this one has really good ratings both on MAL and Baka. Although Baka updates doesn't state that this manga is licensed in English the Bato.to isn't hosting the manhwa on any language due of the request of the original publisher... so that leaves room to question if it is licensed after all.^-^

The art is quite good level and the story is decent to follow so I'm keeping this one for sure on my reading list.^-^

Main characters

Kairak Lord

Kairak is a dragon who has spent 300 years alone improving his powers in a forest surrounded by a forcefield. He was never allowed to meet with, let alone speak with anyone and is now a quiet and watchful character. There is no mention of any family of any kind, though he is told he must return to the dragon community. He has extreme potential power that was sealed temporarily in the right hand of the woman who saved his life, Reana. He feels extremely attached to her and does not know why.

Reana Porte

A kind factory man's daughter who flies gliders. She receives an enormous amount of power and guards it responsibly at her own risk. She is also a healer who uses power to heal others at the cost of her own lifeforce. She is searching for her father who was kidnapped by those who are after the power she is guarding. Also she has a tentative and slow paced love relationship with Kairak, a dragon.

Reihart Frihanov Cantaré (리이할트 프리하노프 칸타레)

Reihart Frihanov Cantaré is an antagonist turned protagonist and one of the main characters of the series Abide in the Wind. He is an extremely skilled Contractor using the named Dragon Artifact the Lance of Zainarak. Though Reihart is currently the first prince of Earthside, he is in fact heir presumptive to the kingdom. Due to an incident that happened twelve years prior to the start of the series, he plans to overthrow his father and his Chamber Council and become the next king of Earthside. He pursues Reana Forté in order to make the power she has as Riyenas his own.

Prince Reihart has his father's green eyes and blonde hair kept short with fringes parted to the left. He is tall, measuring at 6'2" and is twenty-two years old at the start of the series. Albeit constantly shown wearing white pants and a large white fluffy wool vest, his shirt changes from purple tunic with yellow trimmings from a red tunic. He has a huge scar on the left side of his neck that extends straight down to his hip.

Despite being the first prince of Earthside, Reihart rarely shows himself in public. To all he is the powerful and handsome prince.

Dark (다크)

Dark is one of the main characters of the series Abide in the Wind. He is an Akoom Contractor who possesses the named Dragon Artifact, the Bow of Rahutanoks. Dark serves under Prince Reihart as his spy in exchange of removing the Akoom slave system and is currently under orders to observe Reana's and Kairak's movements. He begins following them since their arrival to the Forest of Blue Mirage Beasts.

Dark is a mysterious, brooding, solemn, and a melancholic figure. Although brooding, he is serious and loyal about his duty as protector of Akooms. He weeps whenever an Akoom loses their "Light".

He is a tall and slender male Akoom with a melancholic expression. He has short black hair mostly slicked back, brown skin, and black eyes.
