Side notes: For some point while fast checking out this story I got a feeling of Korean Manhwa... the art has the same kind of feeling as quite many Korean comics have. On the second thought I'm not sure which way the drift goes.XDDD Maybe it's just that Korean artists are taking influences from Japan or vice cversa. The story is okay for romance shoujo manga and I like the male lead. Also the Hikaru is nice and not over dramatised character... but still I'd like to have some more "spunk" in her... 'cause she's a bit meak for my taste.

Main characters



 Minato Asou (麻生 湊人)

 Although from afar he seems to be a rough-house delinquent who hangs out with all the wrong people, Minato, is a kind and almost timid person who doesn't like to get the people he cares about into trouble. He is a good "house-wife" as his uncle says and is interested in astronomy, just like Hikaru. He lives with his uncle at the moment as his parents are recently divorced. His sister-in-law is a beautiful opera singer who believes that he is destined to become a professional pianist and apparently will go to drastic measures to see that accomplished. He carries around a bell that is seemingly very important to him, according to his uncle. 






Hikaru Minami (南 光)

 A cheerful first-year and the protagonist of the story. Hikaru has always loved the sky, and thus when she entered high school she became the most enthusiast member of the school's astronomical club. After encountering Asou by chance, she's fascinated by him and decides that the two  of them should become closer.

 Shooting stars make her easily emotional and she even tears up for the beauty of the night sky. She has also a brother Yui who has a strong siscon going on.
