Side notes: This is manga translation project that is between new and old. Same can be said about the manga itself. In my books it's a old manga and I'm pretty hesitant about it but I took it up mainly due of the kawai cover.>.< Still reading the synopsis and taking a peek to the sequel it really started to feel not so good idea after all... and that's why I pushed it into Extra mangas this time with Dekisokonai no Monster Trainer that I first felt could be fun to read but I couldn't get over the stupid fanservice that was made so obvious without any good reason for it. 

But never mind that. This manga has pretty strong fan base and people seem to like it...I'm more or less confused. The art has many good things going for it but at the same time it's not so appealing (I'm probably missing the comedy here.XDD) Good thing is the different type of interpretation of the more common youkais (like Kappa and "Monkey King" in the above picture). But as said the comedy is vulgar... and some gag's repeat too many times for me to enjoy them (I do understand that it's the comedy construction). I think I just need more adjustment of thought on my part to be able to see the real fun of it.^-^
